Phone line not working?

my telephone line has no dial tone i have cheched all incoming sockets and no tone can be found, but i seem to have broadband and my bt vision is also working please help...

Your main in-line socket has a removable front, behind that is another socket, the engineers test your line with this one, plug phone in this and if it work's then the problem is not the line. You can go on line to report faults at bt.com.

e.mail bt to check your system they can diagnose a fault from their end

reset the broadband as it often does that when an incoming or outgoing call isnt cleared.

your only option is to phone your phone line provider and report a fault and ask for line check if its a stuck call they can force it to clear!

Go to the Bt website and go to Faults and enter your phone number and it will check your line for you.
