If someone is tapping your phone how do you change the phone line ??

If somebody is physically tapping into your line somewhere between your home and the telephone office, then getting your number changed won't help, as the phone company is extremely unlikely to change you to another physical line (number changes are handled in the central office, not on the outside lines).

If you really have good cause to believe that somebody has tapped into your line, then you should report those suspicions to the phone company.  They will take a dim view of an illegal wiretap, and if they find one, may well call in the police.

You have to contact your local phone company. If you believe your line is being tapped, they will come out and check the line for tapping equipment. If it is found, they can either remove it, or run a new line in to your home

you call ur land line provider and you ask them to change ur number. you may have to pay a small fee but its worth it.
