Question:

Phone line question?

Someone called me from another state and of course, I answered. He told me that it will charge me alot of money because he's calling from a public line, and since I picked up on my house phone; I'll be charged. Is this true? Or does it depend on your phone plan?

  1. He can't reverse charges without your consent so there would have been an operator ask if you accept the charge.

  2. You are not charged for incoming calls unless it is a collect call and you accept (verbally) the charges. Have a nice day!

  3. it proabley depends on your phone plan if it was out of state why would you answer?

    thats weird someone called you!

  4. I think your caller is spoofing you.

Don't worry, unless you accepted the charges.

If for some unknown reason charges appear on your bill call your Telco's billing office and complain.
