Phone number 331...?

okkk so I got a really weird call with the phone number 331.... has anyone gotten that before, and if you did, what was it?? I didn't want to pick it up because I didn't know who it was so any help would be appreciated :] I'm just curious.

It is most likely someone 'spoofing' their caller ID. It is very simple. They could be using a service like http://www.spoofcard.com

No idea where 331 area code is, but you can Google that. How do you know it was a weird call if you didn't pick it up? May be a prankster. Seems some very stupid kids today like to make prank calls even though there are laws against it.

If 331 was the area code prefix then it was Chicago. May have been a  telemarketer or a long distance wrong number.
