Phone screen gone all screwy?

My mom tried to send a picture to our computer from her phone but it didn't work. So she went to turn it off and turn it back on again and it'll show the "hello Moto" sign, then the screen flashes 3 shades of black.

There's a picture she really wants on this phone, is there anyway to fix it?

Anyone know the problem with it?

Get a new phone.  I have the same problem, except the screen turns white.  I does that when I turn it on and I'm not even using the computer.
