Phone service for prisoners ?

does anyone know a phone assistance I can use for a federal prisoner to call home that would be cheaper than the charges that apply now ??

Nope, the prison phone system is monopolized by one carrier. They must use that service to make a call, if you were to send a phone card, it would be confiscated as contraband, also, you may not call them, they have to call you.

nope. they are allowed to use the common pay phone. this phone is subscribed to one service and they charge the highest rate they are legally allowed to charge.

everyone gets a commission off this phone, the jail, the county, the state, the feds. everyone is happy.
