Phone switched to PULSE???? (uniden)?

Question

my home phone is stuck to pulse dial instead of tone and i cant get it to go back! on most phones there is a switch to change it but this one doesn't have one!!

anyone have any ideas on how to fix it???

Faulty telephone, hope it is under warranty.

Never had that happen, how did it get changed

So when you dial it clicks instead of tones?

Call Uniden....they should be able to help you.

Scan the handset menu. There should be a MENU key or similar button. Look for SETTINGS. Scroll down for BASE settings. Look for Dialling options or similar menu. There should be PULSE and TONE option. Good luck.

According to the user manual (page 16), you should be able to reset it as follows:

* Press "Menu/clear"

* Select the GLOBAL SETUP menu

* Select DIAL MODE sub-menu

* Select TONE

* Press "Select"
