Question:

Phone to work with headset without losing battery power?

I work at home for a teleservices company and use a headset connected to my phone so I don't have to hold it. The problem I'm having is that my phone dies after just an hour or so. We bought a brand new battery and it worked for a little while, and now the same thing is happening! I'm using a GE cordless phone, I don't know what the label is on the headset. It's your basic $20-30 headset from Office Depot.

I'm not sure why the phone is dying so quickly, the only thing I can think of is that the headset is using all the power???

I'm at a loss here as to what to do. I have to have hands free so I can type for my job. I've been holding the phone and it's just not working.

Can someone please help me out? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
