Phone with sea water damage help please =]?

We went sea fishing in cornwall a couple of days ago, which by the way is really boring and made me sea sick, anyway my mums phone was in our rucksack and it got well... a little wet and her phone when she picked it up felt really heavy, so she took it apart to dry and make it dry she also used the hairdryer. so does anyone have any tips on how to fix it, the phone won't turn on just so you know and, i dont think it matters but the phone is a Nokia 5310 Xpress music

It's dead.

And if you try to return it for a warranty replacement they will not do it because it was dropped in water. Inside the phone near the battery there is an indicator patch which turns color when it gets wet, and that is how they know your warranty is void.

But, if somehow, that indicator patch is missing, they cannot prove that the phone was wet and might replace it.
