Question:

Phosphorus is dangerous? What else can I do?

I have to design a lab and carry it out. I wanted to see the effect of phosphorus on pea plant growth but apparently phosphorus is dangerous and hard to obtain. I was considering doing the effect of pH or nitrogen on Pea plant growth but I think those topics are taken. Any other suggestions?

  1. Use another chemical (pottassium nitrate, for example) or one which is readily available where you are and monitor it's effects. There are dozens of trace elements that you could experiment with; try asking a nursery or garden supplier to see what is a good one.
