Photo Paper Mystery queston........?

Question

When you develop regular film, I know you treat the paper with a chemical bath and it makes the colors come out, but how do you get the photo from the film strip to the paper? Is it some kind of projecter or something?

its called an enlarger. u put ur negative under the light and it projects ur imagae from the nagative to the photo paper below.
