Photo enforced traffic lights?

i dont know if u have them in your area but what is your opinion of them

theyre good cuz they catch the bad guys

I just went on vacation through 6 Southern states and all of them had these cameras. I think it is a great idea and a great source of revenue. I just don't prefer the way that the vans/photos are subcontracted out and how the revenue is split. But like anything new, one must work out the kinks.

unless they are for busy roads in busy areas.

I don't like them. I wish I could live in a place that doesn't have them, but they are on just about every street corner where I live.

They don't have them in Michigan but don't give Michigan any ideas! but they are in Ohio and other states.

They are a way of getting intersections patrolled without having to put a policman there.

If they save lives by making people come to a complet stop and not blowing off a red or yellow light I have no problem with them

I have friends who blow off stop signs and red and yellow lights but if they ever get a ticket they cry like a baby.
