Photo in anime form?

i heard that there was some kind of setting on some cameras that can convert the picture they take into an anime type style and i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of camera could do that or something i could buy for my camera to make it do that?

No, there is no camera or program for converting images to anime. Some photo programs can convert images to a animated or painted image, but it is not converted to look like anime.

Even in programs like Photo Shop, you are doing a lot of manual work to change the image to anime, it's not automatic conversion in any sense.

Where did you hear it from?  Was it a reliable source?  Sure any camera can take a picture and then you can make it look like anime in Photoshop.  It will require a lot of manual work in Photoshop though.  I'd be surprised if a camera had that much processing built into the camera.  Also because the market for it would be really small.  99% of consumers would never use it, so why would a company spend research and development dollars on it?  But hey, if it's true, somebody out there could provide a link and prove it.  Otherwise, I'd just call bull on it.
