Photo mac help. How do I create a private folder to place pictures that only I can access?

I don't want people to be able to look at all photos in my i photo library, but cant seem to get pictures out of main page without deleting them!!!

there is security software that comes with mac/apple, check cd if not installed, search for control panels for user accounts , keychain, encryption , and password settings,
