Photobucket betrayed me, can you help me?

ok, so i had like 100 pics on photobucket. i went on myspace and posted pics of me that i wanted my friends to see. i put them in their comment section. i also had some pics on photobucket that were private family photos that i would not necessarily want the whole myspace community to see.

so what happened was one of the firends that i sent the pic to, clicked on it (not to be intrusive but i think she wanted to see a larger immage),and when she clicked on it, it took her to my photobucket page. she saw all my pics.

what gives? when I go to my own photobucket page it asks for my user name and like a billion passwords (i kid, but still) and for her she just clicked on a picture that i sent her on myspace and it took her directly to all my pics?

what happened? i had to deleate all my photos from photobucket now. how could i prevent that next time?

  1. i just learned about using different albums... some public and some private. it took me a while to figure it out and it's still not 100%. go to your photobucket edit profile page and surf around and you will figure it out, i know.

my son freaked out because he thunk i posted his baby pics to the world, lol, like who in California or Egypt gives a rat's pitootie, ya know?

  2. You can create multiple albums. Some can be private and some public. You should only link to the public ones. A link to a private one will require a password. Each album can have its own password if desired.
