Photochromic lenses vs. Polarized tinted lens. Which one is most effective with UV protection and comfort?

polarized!! big time!!

photochromic lenses will fade over time and will change colors very slowly.

polarized lenses, on the other hand, gets rid of reflective glare which photochromic does NOT. and you don't have to worry about too much fading or whatnot.

I would definitely go with polarized lenses.  Keep in mind that transition or photochromatic lenses don't get dark behind the windshield of your car so if you are looking for protection while driving polarized is better by far.  Hope this helps!
