Photofiltre help/error?

Question

I downloaded photofiltre and i kinda have a long time with it.

Lately when i try to open an image it says "ERROR UNABLE TO LOAD IMAGE". I can't figure out the solution. I tried re-installing it but it doesn't help. Plz. help me because i run a myspace layout site and i need to do pictures and stuff A.S.A.P!!!!!!

may depend on the format of image, check extension for web use, jpg, gif, png, are ok, if bmp tiff, those may work slow, if psd,  psp , xcf, those wont open in this program,

~try drag and dropping on browser window, if viewable may have wrong extension, for example png, may be jpg or gif,

IrfanView may be of help to open file and get info for error, and correct if wrong format, or try changing extension from what it is to jpg,
