Photographers which is the best camera for a point and shoot?

I am looking into the:

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77/B

Nikon CoolPix S610'

Canon PowerShot SD770 IS

Any advice will be helpful.

  1. Take a look at the Canon G9. It is a little more but worth every penny.


  2. Of those 3, I would definitely get the Canon.  It is the only one with a viewfinder, and you will find that very valuable if you are taking pics in bright sunlight.  The LCD screen is worthless in sunlight, and you will be so glad to have that viewfinder so you can keep taking pics!
