  1. The John Roebling Suspension Bridge [the blue bridge] is the prototype of The Brooklyn Bridge.

Sawyer Point has some nice views of the Ohio River. It's downtown and it has good parking available.

The Natural History Museum is in the Union Terminal, which has an Art Deco design. It looks like an old radio.

There is a nice overlook for the river in Eden Park, and ducks on the pond.

There is a trompe l'oiel mural [very large] on the north side of the Brotherhood Building, across the street from The Kroger Building [Vine & Central Parkway.] It shows a depiction of Cincinnatus, the Roman general who Cincinnati was named [indirectly] for.

City Hall at 8th & Plum is photogenic. It's across the street from the Wise Temple, the first reformed Jewish synagogue in the country.

I have to agree with Spring Grove Cemetery. Many historic people are there, a lot of great sculpture, lovely landscaping. Burnet Woods and Spring Grove both designed by the landscape architect who did Central Park in New York. I'm thinking Frederick North Olmstead.  At the time of its construction, cemeteries were designed to be places where a family could go for recreation as they would to a park. Spring Grove has handouts showing locations of the graves of Civil War generals and a monument for Johnny Appleseed. Many gypsies are buried there, their headstones are a dark red. There's a story there that I don't have all the details on.

  2. For pretty, unique and inspiring it has to be ...and this is not a joke....the Arboretum at Spring Grove Cemetary.

I have taken many visitors there and they have all enjoyed this beautiful place, whatever the season.

Only you know your friend and if this would appeal to them but I would say you should at least check it out!!

  3. Fountain Square, by The Genius of Water fountain

Ault Park, in front of the view that overlooks the city.

I hear that there is also a great view of the city from Devou Park

The top of the Carew Tower

In front of Great American Ballpark

From the deck of one of the River Boats, looking into the city while cruising the Ohio

In front of the steps leading to the Monastary on the top of Mt. Adams

In front of a Riverboat, down at Sawyer Point
