Question:

Photography Course At Camebridge Requirements?

I am starting my GCSE's in a few days (Starting Year 10) So I am going to find something to aim for, which would be Camebridge University.

Yes, I know, shooting high, but I have the IQ for MENSA (I'm 14) which is 132. The minimum.

Can something give me the straight answer of what A Levels I'd need to get to get to Camebridge for a Photography Course. Do they even do photography Courses at Camebridge?

So, do how many A's do I need, and in what subjects?

  1. Umm...it's spelt Cambridge =S and they don't do photography for undergraduates.

You will be an undergraduate because that's what you are when you join a university and don't have a degree. I'm also pretty sure that if they don't do it for undergraduate they won't for postgraduate either.

  2. Universities don't tend to offer photography courses - fine art yes, photography no. You'd need to look at certain art colleges (maybe Central St. Martin's and Edinburgh College of Art offer it but I don't know, they're more focused on "hands-on" art like sculpture etc) because no doubt there are plenty of courses in photography, for which I'd assume you'd need an A in photography but (unless there's writing componants on the course) you shouldn't be required to do particularly well in your A Levels. You sound pretty confused though... first of all you say you want to apply to Cambridge but not for a subject it offers, you don't know how it's spelt, you've capitalised really random words and phrased things a little oddly, you don't know what undergraduate means (it's the name for those studying for a degree)... if you're serious about the whole photography thing then look the information up, but Cambridge is not where you'll find it.
