Photography portfolio and shoot ideas? Pretty please x

Question

I recently got a canon 400d camera and am interested in photography as a hobby, my friend is coming to my house in 2 days and shes 15 and i'm looking fo rpicture ideas please!.X

Then on friday 2 of my friends are coming to my house they are both 14 ideas again please!.X

Finally, Any other ideas for a 14 year old photography portfolio am open to suggestions and not just a portrait photographer, i.e i do lansape and abstract and unique pictures!.X

my portfolio is a living growing beast (and sometimes it really feels like that)

it changes and grows and changes again all the time...

put something together now, and in a year it will be an entirely different animal as you evolve and learn as an image maker

so put together some of your best shots of what you shoot (three of landscape, three of portraits, three of friends, three of bugs, you get the picture, three of each of the catagorys you shoot, and use that untill you got some better works to put in, and in time you will have better works to add and want to remove the older one because you will have grown beyond that)

some unique ideas would maybe be outside in a beautiful landscape.

i've seen some great pictures taken of people sitting up in trees, or laying in the lush grass. maybe have a 'best friends' idea going, like running together the opposite way of the camera. if you can do it, while the sun is going down, get the sun behind your one or two subjects and have them jump. if you do it right, it'll look amazing!!

just get creative. try it all, and if it doesn't work, just pick up and keep going!!

the main thing you should consider is making sure the person/object you take tells a story visually. if its just a simple pose with a backdrop there isn't much "pop" to it. make the viewer think. what is she thinking or looking at. but you really need to do this on your own photography is an art. YOUR art. who cares about other peoples style shooting. let them look through your eyes.
