  1. Choose something that interests you... something you love... something you enjoy... something you can be proud of!

One of my ongoing projects that I've been shooting for quite a while is of people wearing traditional clothing from my culture.

Another one I've done is of bottles... wine bottles, soda bottles, beer bottles, baby bottles, broken bottles, bottles I find on the street, etc.

I've also done a series on statues in my area.

  2. How about style.

You can photograph people's hair, makeup, clothes, shoes.

    No?

    How about food?

  3. i was in a photography club and one of my favorite themes was unity thru colors.

  4. How about instead of just focusing on an object...choose a project that has to do with the on going changes of something...like life, a plant, love...stages of it...beginning and an end. For example: a tree growing...the leave changing, etc.

Then you could make a photo montage of the progression through the year....
