  1. when you hook your ipod up to itunes select your ipod then look on the right side which has a tab that says pictures. you can select which ones you wanna sync      far as the hotmail goes i dunno if the touch has email capabilites

  2. Let us know what operating system you have.

if you have a mac you install iphoto to manage your photo's then itunes will ask you what photo albums you want to sync (like playlists in itunes).

if you have windows you must specify what location of pictures you want to copy over (make sub folder within 'My Photo's) and select a subfolder. itunes can only work in co-operation with iphoto and not 3rd party programs for picture management.

email can me managed easily using Apple's 'Mail' or  Windows 'Outlook' full version not the express where it sync names, events and email .

You configure Mail or Outlook to work with the hotmail account first then in itunes under the Other Tab you ask it to sync mail, contacts and events and to overwrite the ipods settings with the computer on this sync (at the very bottom) for this sync only.

itunes will add as many photo's as it can LAST until the disk space is full so dont worry about that

  3. Okay... so you have to create a folder and copy whatver pics you want on your ipod in there and then you have to go you your ipod in itunes and click on the photos tab up top. Then there is an option to sync to a specific folder. Navigate and find that folder that you put somewhere after creating it and viola you have only a few pics on your ipod.

I'll check the hotmail settings for you

On your touch, go to the settings app and then mail ... click add account and click other...

Now you have your settings screen.

Name is just the display name. - so Mine would be Hotmail Inbox for whatever purpose. You can name it anything.

Address is just the address :  yourname@hotmail.com

Description is pointless put something in there if you want

Update: I ran into a bit of a wall... you need to use a backdoor program if you don't have hotmail plus. I'll leave those instructions instead.

    Pretty much just go here:

I'll try it and see if I have any problems so that I can warn you about them.

I can't get it to work right now... this is hotmail being a pain really. They have some kind of set up with the pop3 so that it doesn't work. You can try and might have better luck though. I'll try later tonight, sorry I can't do it right now, I have to leave work. Later.

  4. restore it!!!
