Photoshop: Gradiant Help?

Question

I made this random shape and i want to run gradiants threw it but once I do one gradiant and go to do the other it takes the one before away. How can I make this stop, so I can I have more than one gradiant in the shape?

Yeh its suppose to do that but instead, try using the foreground to transparent instead then u can use multiple gradients w/o having them removed
