Photoshop Help Needed 10 points best answer

Hi All.

I Downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS3.

I Have 2 questions about it.

1.How do I use brushes I've saved off the internet?

and

2.My paintbrush wont work like before its drawing very thin no matter what setting. What can I do?

Open the .jar files with a text editor and configure the hex values. This is not possible on a mac, so if you have a mac then you're screwed.

to use brushes you got for the web...open the brushes pallet, then click the small upside down triangle on the right side in the top corner, then select "load brushes" from the drop down menu...then navigate to where you saved your brushes from the web..then click ok.

For your paint brush...select the paint brush tool, then on the top menu back click the pull down menu, next to where it says "brush" there you can change the thinkness

You can also just install your brushes intoa  folder so you won't have to load them each time.

If the file you got from a website was zipped, unzip it. The brushes files should end in .abr

Copy and paste them into this folder:

C:/Program Files/Adobe/PhotoshopCS3/Presets/Brushes

(Your file path may not be the EXACT same name, but it should be similar. Hope this helped!)
