Photoshop Software to edit Photos?

Question

I am looking for some software like photoshop, but free. Freeware I guess. I would just buy photoshop, but I will only need it for a week or so at most. Then I will be done with it. Anyone know of anything?

PHOTOSHOP AND PHOTOFILTRE STUDIO 9 :

ALREADY INSTALLED AND ACTIVATED

Photoshop is the best editing tool for sure, but not easy at all if you're a beginner. (Gimp is also not easy..). I'd rather recommend you PhotoFiltre Studio 9. It's a much more easy-to-use software that still able to do very interesting things. That's the one I personally use and I'm very satisfied with it.

Those version are pretty special because they're PORTABLE. It means that you don't need to slow down your computer with new installations.. To sum up, you just need to download it and then to click on it to use it ! (You can even take it with you in your usb key ;)

if you only need the software for a week you can download a free trial of phtoshop. JUst search for free photoshop trial on google or yahoo and one should come up =)

Perhaps you should try using Gimp, which is a free program that is similar to PhotoShop.

Another program that you may want to try using would be Paint.Net, which is also free, but is more like Microsoft Paint with added features.

A very good Photo-Editing software available is Adobe PhotoShop, but only a 30-day trial for PhotoShop is available for free. To try it out go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads

A free alternative to PhotoShop is GIMP. While it is as powerful as PhotoShop, it's a bit harder to use. If you can't get your head around it, check some tutorials on YouTube:

i have a mac, and i got photoshop from limewire, just be carefull of viruses
