Photoshop cs3 extended help??

Question

well i've made a layout and everything and i need to add the image in as the header, but when ever i try and drag the image onto the layout it all locks and then just opens the image by itself.

I think you need to explain this better. I'm a cs3 extended expert and I don't know what you mean.

Try this, instead of dragging from image to image. Open up the image you want to put in as a header. Simply copy it, then go to the layout and paste. That will make a new layer.

This will do the trick if I'm understanding your problem correctly.
