Photoshop filter help?

when i go to the filter drop list it only shows blur, noise, pixelate, sharpen, stylize, other and convert to smart filters. it doesn have the extract filter and all the other filters. so i clicked convert to smart filters but it doesnt do anything is there some plugin i need to download to get all my filters back? id appreciate if anyone can help. i even reset everything but it still wont show

Hi there. Easy to fix: change the image to RGB instead of grayscale or CMYK.

You try looking in the actual Photoshop Folders in the Filter Folder to see if the one you are looking for is there.  If not, also check the plug in folder, sometimes things get put in the wrong folders and do not load properly.
