Question:

Photoshop help please! :)

Hello.

Look at the images provided by the links below.

They all have the same watery effect, and have been edited to look like that.

The pictures I am starting with are photo real, and I want them to have the strange painted effect that these have...(not the comic bubbles and frame). I want the non-photo real look.

Nothing in the liquify gallery gives the same effect, and I really want to use it on my next piece of work.

Any links or guides or tips is greatly appreciated.

  1. Hmm. You should definitely play around with the selective coloring a bit, and the watery effect, I don't quite understand what you mean, but try some textures maybe?

And for the 'painted effect' you could try one of the artistic filters after duplicating a layer, and experiment with opacity and blending modes.

You could also lower the full opacity/contrast/brightness/saturation, et cetera. Sorry I can't help you more, and I can't guarantee these will work.

  2. very nice i like it

  3. Try using the filters provided in photoshop.  Specifically, try playing around with the Watercolor and Posterize filters.
