Photoshop help pleaseee?

in photoshop when i try to re size something i keep getting an error saying i cant do it because the layer is locked. How can i stop this?

Make sure you have the layers open and then select the layer you want to re size. It will work.

If you have multiple layers, then simply click the layer you want to resize and you will see in the layer panel a lock icon, click on it to unclock that layer, after that you will be able to resize your layer.

If the case you are talking about is an image, and you only have one layer, then when you open your image in photoshop, double click on the layer and then click ok to proceed. Then you will be able to resize the image.
