Photoshop picture types?

Question

i have made the image, i saved it, but the image is a photoshop one, and i went to put it on photobucket and i cant, how can i change the image type to like jpeg or something so i can put it into photobucket?

you ve saved it as a psd to save it as a jpeg, go to "save as" then where it says "format " change it to jpeg.

ok here is what you do - when you are done doing what you want to the picture go to the file then click save as and you will see where you change it from photoshop to jpeg - someone had to tell me to - lol

Go to file>save as and in the drop down box underneath where you type the image name, select what format you want to use (I usually use png or jpeg, as png supports alpha channel transparency, and jpeg has good compression.)

Go to file, at the top, and click save as. Below you'll see format with a drop down menu to click on. Select JPEG and save.

In photoshop, press save as. After that, under the title bar, you'll see a drop down menu. Click on the drop down menu and there you'll see a whole bunch of formats you can save the picture as. Pick the jpeg one and click Save As.
