Photoshop question. PNG, RGB, and Grayscale Format.

So im trying to create a costume logo for an ipod touch but ii need to save it as a PNG RGB, or Grayscale, and i need to have Alpha channels on.

my first question is where is the RGB and Grayscale formats in photoshop i dont see them when i try to save the image.

and my second question is how do i turn on alpha channels on when you are trying to save an image.

Please help me.

  1. RGB / Grayscale is under the Image Menu - then Mode. You can set this information when you create a new file or go into the menu and change it in an existing file.

    PNGs basically include alpha-channels. You cannot save a png with a channel.

    TIFs can be saved with alphas if that is a requirement.
