Photoshop is soooo much better than paint shop pro.. Photoshop has so many extra features in photshop it is much easier to modify pictures and colors and such! I've been able to create whole website layouts in photoshop!

I prefer PSP, but I am an amateur. If you want to use it professionally go for PS, because that is the standard.

PS costs about 10 times what PSP costs and you really have to engage to be able to use all its functions. I think that PSP is more intuitive for a hobbyuser and I am sure that I can spend many years and still learn more about all different functions in my PSP.

Photoshop - I like this program for better results (if you're an experienced photoshopper)

but PSP can be okay as it has set things such as the tanning feature, or the teeth whitening and so on, but all this can be done manually on Photoshop.

overall Photoshop is better for those who are experienced
