Photosynthesis children's book?

I have to make a kids book that includes how photosynthesis works. What can I compare photosynthesis with to make a story out of?

maybe the growth of a baby, growth of children to adulthood. or a baby animal, like a fish, like the one resembling the fish from finding nemo, or a pup into a full grown dog.   hope this helps good luck, peace!
