  1. D.  It makes sugar to live off of.  The oxygen is just a side benefit for us (just waste for the plant).

  2. Photosynthesis uses sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxide into a sugar like substance called glucose. this substance is basically food for the plan in that the photosynthesis occurs.

  3. E.  Do your homework yourself.

  4. D. Because of the equation ;;

    PHOTOSYNTHESIS ;;

    Carbon Dioxide + Water + Light Energy --> Oxygen + Glucose (Which is a high energy Sugar)

    Hope That Helps. :]

  5. D

  6. D

    CO2(gas) + 12 H2O(liquid) + photons → C6H12O6(aqueous) + 6 O2(gas) + 6 H2O(liquid)

    carbon dioxide + water + light energy → glucose + oxygen + water

  7. D.

  8. Oxygen, Thank God. This is known as symbioses  (beneficial to both organisms mammals/ plants.

  9. a. oxygen...i don't know why...it's just a by-product of photosynthesis
