hello people-

I am having oral surgery soon and my friend told me I was "in for it"...what does that mean?

Your friend must have had a difficult time with the same type of surgery, meaning that it will be painful.  However, everyone has a different experience and you do need to expect some discomfort.  Dentists use a variety of methods and drugs to counteract any serious pain.  So don't be afraid and definitely don't let your friend scare you.


  2. It means that it is going to be an unpleasant ordeal.  I can assure you however, if you are seeing a good dentist or oral surgeon, you wont feel much but the small sting of a needle to numb your mouth.  The rest is easy.
