  1. Psychology is a narrow focus on things, even social psychology, which does deal with groups, and groups of people, but on an individual level and how they interact with each other, whereas sociology is an expansive focus, and deals with groups as a whole and how different societies and groups of people affect one another on a general level.  It depends on whether you are a focused person, or a big picture person.  You should base your decision on that.

Also; I won't lie to you, all college majors are worthless.  The only exceptions are all the ones in the Math family (engineering, computer science, you know, the math family), and anything that directly has an applicable skill.  Everything else though, needs a bigger degree, because actual application does not come until after you step into the big labs or go out on the field to apply what you learn.

In other words prepare and plan for the long term if you choose either of those majors.

    peace out.

  2. Socioligy....because it helps u look at society in a completely different light. It helps us understand exactly why the world is the way it is. im a sociology minor and I love it. U a n apply sociology to any field and its a major help. Im a Criminal Justice major and it helps me understand crime and why it occurs...I love it :)
