Physical Anthropology and Math?

how much math is involved in physical anthropology? I love learning about evolution and the history of humans, but i hate math.

  1. You will definitely want to take Statistics if you want to study physical anthropology in depth, since you'll be comparing physical measurements of humans across different groups.  Since you'll be studying changes in populations and movements, the basics of Calculus will be necessary.  Maybe when you get into the math courses that really help you in your main interest, you'll find them less hateful.


  2. Im with you! Math is crazy, and I love the history of Human evolution.

    I think there would be some math in measuring sections to excavate or time periods and of course understanding more mathematically advanced civilizations, and if youwere to become an anthropoligist youwould need to take math classes but I wouldn't think too much
