i am a full time tutor and i am handling 5 classes and i have at least 30 students in each session..

can anyone please suggest any indoor games (the likes of charades) that can help ease 'our' boredom.. (subject is Communication Arts1)

*i am well, not a lot of fun, (way too serious BUT trying to loosen up) and i have tried "exaggerating" with the way i discuss in order to have some energy flowing.

  1. Not to sure what grades you have but color games are good things for little kids. "Put the red bean bag on the red spot". It helps with colors and learning space awareness. For 3-4 graders, relay games are great for them. Dont give into "Heads up 7up" that does nothing for them. What I do with my students on rainy days is move the desks to one side and do physical fitness stations. Like station 1 is push ups, station 2 is sit ups, station 3 is jumping jacks, etc....

  2. What some of my teachers do is they break us into groups and we work together to figure out the answer and try to beat the other teams so we can get a prize or something like Jeoprady . sorry i dont really no what Communication Arts1 is.
