  1. i like going to school. it lets me be social, and you can be real hands on with whatever you're learning

  2. NO HOME SCHOOL!

  3. I don’t have the answer - some kids can do great in Homeschool other in Public School.

All I know is many schools try to put many kids in a “cookie cutter”. Those they cannot manage they call them everything else ADD, ESL, ESM, and the list goes on and on (Morzart and Einstien would fit in ADD or ESL catorgory).

“Howard Gardner the author, a professor at the Harvard School of Education and a practitioner of cognitive science based on a theory of multiple intelligences wrote many books on this subject. State they are over 150 different types of intelligence.  The first one I ever read was in his 1983 book, Frames of Minds and it woke me up as a person now as a parent.  In “Frame of Minds” he talks about various intelligence that you will never hear spoken in the Educational system because they are not equip to handle those other intelligence.

Gardener talk about  Linguistic Intelligence, Musical Intelligence, Logical-Mathematical Intelligence, Spatial Intelligence, Interpersonal Intelligence, Intrapersonal Intelligence Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence , Personal Intelligence  and more

  4. I know families who have chosen the online option for their 6+ yo's (you can't register before that where I live) and it has gone reasonably well. Most who want to do homeschooling, however, forego the online type of homeschooling altogether and simply homeschool their kids.

I think certain young kids would do fine with online--my daughter would be a prime example. My son, however, would HATE such a thing. However, if I was not allowed to simply homeschool my kids as I saw fit, I would still pick online schooling over going to school. Why? Primarily because of how things are here in the schools. It's just not a healthy environment and we would report any family to social services if some of the same stuff happened at home.
