I read somewhere Alicia Silverstone said her eyes got whiter after going vegan? Has anyone here noticed any physical changes by going vegan like improvements in hair and skin? overall well being?

  1. i lost a little bit of weight but that's pretty much it

  2. I felt weak while eating vegan...a little fish and some eggs have helped tremendously..I feel better...

  3. vegans/vegetarian tend to be more lean and healhly

  4. I'd been an exceptionally healthy vegetarian for two decades before I went vegan, so I wasn't really expecting any radically noticeable benefits.  I'm very satisified with my decision and, on an emotional level I feel better because I made an ethical choice that I strongly believe in, but I really didn't notice any physical effects one way or another.

  5. yeah her eyes turned whiter, just like her skin, it got pale.  It's called lack of essential vitamins, protein, B-12, niacin etc. etc.

  6. well i think beause i you go vegan you have to watch what your eating, like if your getting a balanced diet and stuff, but then eating meawan you just eat anythingthing so you dont realy pay attention.

i have just notied that i have been eating muh healthier food and getting a better balanced diet i think this is because u have to make sure you are getting everyhting you need =D

  7. I don't really know if there are any noticeable benefits in my appearance, because I avoid looking in mirrors (seriously) but my dad says I look healthy. I also feel good almost all the time, especially when I'm sitting outside napping in the sun, getting my vitamin D.

  8. After becoming a vegetarian my skin cleared up and I rarely get blemishes like I did before.  My hair is stronger and my breath is better even when I first wake up in the morning.  My sweat doesn't smell as bad and neither does my business:)

Speaking of business, I have never been so regular.  TMI, I know:)

I also feel like I have more energy and I have lost a lot of weight.  Then there is that little thing called a clean conscious that I have, which helps me sleep at night.

Vegetarians help their own health, animals, and the environment.  Go Veg!!!  You'll feel 100% better!

  9. I had more energy, my cholesterol dropped, I lost 10 pounds, and I feel so much happier.

Vegan diets contain many health benefits, such as lower rates of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, heart disease, and even cancer.  Vegan diets have also been shown to relieve the pain caused by arthritis and reverse heart disease.  Vegans (and vegetarians) also tend to live an average of 10 years longer than omnivores.
