Physical check up/ Regular / Sports?

Question

Ok. im sure i have gotten a physical befor i just dont remember

But on wed.day and idk wtf can some 1 tell me EXACTLY what they do to u and what they take and stuff

what do theyt check please some 1 tell me exactly dont just say oh they just chcekc if ur healthy and hight and weight and stuff no some 1 tell me exactly plz

( im 5'2 / 135 lbs)

and i wanna go for the basketball team

and im 13 and my dr is a girl

Sports physicals are done differently in different areas.  My sons do not get undressed for their sports physicals.

For a regular physical, and some sports physicals, you will have a hernia exam.  The doctor will cup your testicles and apply pressure with her fingertips behind your s*****m and have you cough - twice.  If your not circumcised, she may check your p***s to insure that your f******n is retracting properly.

If your not comfortable with a female doctor, and that seems to be the case, you should let your folks know your concerns and see about changing to a male doctor.

Besides the routine things such as height, weight, etc. the doctor might check your genitals for any abnormalities or hernias. She will feel your testicles for hernias or abnormalities, but that's about it until you've completed puberty. Don't worry though, she's all professional and will do it as quick as possible and she'll answer all questions you have before the procedure. Hope this helps.

if ur rlly uncomfertable with a female dr then ask for a male, well what they do is check ur blood pressure, weight, height.  They gently hit ur knee with thatt mini hammer thing then they will ask you to taake off your shirt then they will look at and feel around your chest. Then u will have to take your shorts/unerware offthen they will grab your p***s and ask you to turn your head and cough to check for hernia, then they will feel around your package then u put your clothes back on and your done.

Well - aren't you just a bundle of nerves worrying about all this!  It depends on whether it's just a routine physical or a complete physical.  Usually, if it's just a routine physical, they check your weight, height, blood pressure, ask you to pee in a Dixie Cup so they can analyze it for any type of abnormalities or infections, use a stethoscope to check your heartbeat, then across your back & ask you to 'cough' several times.  They will reach down below your balls & ask you to cough to make sure you don't have a hernia.  Check your arms, legs & feet for any growth abnomalities.  If it is a COMPLETE physical - they do a lot more - like blood tests for diabetes, high cholesterol. & prostate exam, etc.  Don't get over anxious.  Your female doctor has seen & done it all many times before & one more won't make any difference to her one way or another.  You will get over any embarrassment by the time you get back home.  Good Luck.
