Physician assistant out there

I am thinking about it and was wondering if you have time to balance your family life with work. And also are you respected by the people that you work with. what is the starting pay like?

I get along with everyone. Put in about 60 hours a week. Its tough but I manage to see a game my kids are in and a picnic once in a while. Its not so bad.
