  1. 1st travel time = 280/88 = 3.181818 hours

    stop time = 24 minutes= 0.4 hours

    2nd travel time = 210/75 = 2.8 hours

    a. total trip time = 3.181818+0.4+2.8 =6.381818 hours = 6 hours and 23 minutes

    b. avg. velocity= 490/6.381818= 76.78 km/h

  2. Your question makes no sense.

It looks like you have a bus going 280 km South at 88 km/h, and then another going 210 km South 75 km/h... but you keep saying 'south', and there is that nonsense sentence, "The south for 24 minutes".

    a. The trip will last till you figure out how far you're going to go.

    b. The velocity is unknown if you can't start!

Please re do this, and when you're done, re-read it over!

Hope you have a good trip!

  3. this question makes absolutely no sense, please post the full question.    re-read your question, the wording is totally off, and its obviously missing parts.
