Please answer the questions:

1. A meteor falls from the sky to the Earth. The meteor already had an initial velocity downward when it was spotted. If it hot the Earth at 335m/s after neing seen for 30 seconds, then what is the initial velocity of the meteor?

Thx!

  1. Final velocity v = 335 m/s

    Acceleration a = g = 9.8 m/s^2

    Time t = 30 s

    Initial velocity u = ?

    v = u + at

    Or, u = v - at

    = 335 - 9.8 * 30

    = 335 - 294

    = 41 m/s

    Ans: 41 m/s

  2. 335 = u + 30(9.81)

    u = 40.7m/s

  3. v=335m/s

    u=?

    acceleration =gravity that is 9.8m/s

    v=u+at

    t=30sec

    u=at-v

    9.8x30-335=

    295-335+

    41is the initial speed

  4. This is just a guess.

    Well, Given are:

           S = 335m/s

           t =  30 s

           Find- V=?

           Formula:

                    V= displacement(speed and direction) divide by time

            solution:

                    335m/s divide by 30 s.

             Final answer: 11.166666.. or estimated 1.6667

    That's all

    follow all the format and you will find the answer..

    given, find, formula, solution and final answer.. good luck!!
