Calculate the applied force on a car with a mass of 5500 kg as it is pushed up a 25 degree incline at a constant speed. Assume friction is negligible.

  1. F = mg sin a, where a is the angle of the incline.


  2. Any constant pusing force greater than

    (5500)*sin (25) = 2324.4 N  will keep the car moving at a constant speed. I hope this helps.
