1.Suppose you are in an airconditioned room. You were alone feeling cold. Later when the room was filled with classmates,you felt warm.Why is this so?

2. Why use aluminum for cooking utensils?

3. Why do you rub your hand when you feel cold?

4. Why is it hot during the day and cold in the night?

5. the linings of most thermost bottles are silver. Why is tis so?

6. Why are radiators in most automobiles black?

1) the AC  removes a certain amount of heat. Your body heat is less than this amount  and you are excessively cooled. when your classmates show up your combined heat exceeds the AC

2) aluminum distributes heat evenly.

3) rubbing your hands produces heat by friction

4) during the day you are receiving more heat from the sun than is being radiated by the earth. At night the reverse is true.

5) silver reflects heat so hot remains hot cold remains cold.

6) black absorbs heat. this is why we wear dark colors in winter. It is advantageous for radiators to absorb heat from the cars cooling  system.
