A battery can deliver 10 joules of energy to move 5 coulomb of charge. What is the potential difference between the terminals of the battery?

energy in joules = voltage x current x time

current = charge/time

energy in joules = voltage x charge/time x time

energy in joules = voltage x charge

10 = V*5

V = 2 volts
