The heels on a pair of women's shoes have radii of 0.52 cm on the bottom. If 32% of the weight of a woman weighing 520 N is supported by each h**l, find the stress on each heel.

I can't figure out how to do this!

  1. Total weight divided by actual square cm on the surface of the ground. remember there are two heels and every thing needs to be level. Then the 32% of that should get you close. However your 32% factor seems light. This does not take in consideration of the walking down force.
