a racing driver in a qualified 2-lap racing covers the 1st lap at an average speed of 160km/h he want to increse his speed for the entir race in 320km/h. do you think he can do it? why do you say so.

  1. No, he can't do it. Let the length of one lap be L. By running the first lap at 160 km / h, he's used time = L / 160. To average 320 km / h, he'd need to complete two laps in time = 2 L / 320 = L / 160 = the time he's already used in the first lap. He'd have to run the second lap in zero time to get the average he wants.


  2. He can't,

    1) Is car would have over heated during the first lap an it would reduce efficency of the moving parts.

    2)The man could have been tired(If we are to assume.
